“Slobbers and Slime: The Tale of a Saint” follows the endearing journey of Slobbers, a three-month-old Saint Bernard puppy separated from his brother and adopted by a new family. This heartwarming tale of belonging, growth, and friendship captures Slobbers’ journey as he masters the rules of a house to fight with giant snails. Meehan does both funny and profound well, providing much hearty laughter and deep feelings about love and persistence.
“Slobbers & Sleuths” takes readers on a thrilling adventure through the rugged wilderness as canine brothers Slobbers and Bro, soon to be renamed Drool, along with their human companions Bud and Deon, solve the mystery of a lost boy presumed dead. “Slobbers and Bro are more than just pets—they are detectives, adventurers, and best friends,” Meehan said. “I wanted to highlight the love and loyalty dogs bring to our lives, even in the most challenging times.”
Finally, in the story “Slobbers and Shrooms,” readers meet once again the inhabitants of the fabulous Serenity, where the two Saint Bernards cause unexpected adventures. Set during the holiday season, the book combines comedy, mystery and profound feeling when the dogs solve mysteries and bring families and couples close. Meehan develops topics such as friendship, loyalty, and family, making it the perfect holiday reading. “I wanted to write a story that touches on the joy animals bring while also exploring the deeper themes of forgiveness and belonging,” Meehan shared.
